MAKING YOUR WILL- Making and changing your Will
- Inheritance tax planning
- Obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
- Powers of Attourney and Court of Protection
We recommend all our clients have their will prepared. Your Will provides peace of mind as well as ensuring your dependents are taken care of to the best of your ability and your tax liability, now and on your estate, is kept to a minimum.
From time to time, as your personal situation changes (re-marriage, for example, invalidates a previous Will) or new laws are introduced, we will advise you about the effect they will have on the terms of your Will.
If you have elderly relatives, we can discuss with your the benefits of drawing up a Power of Attorney.
Your family assets, perhaps linked to your business interests, must be properly protected. They may be used to provide security or an income in retirement and, eventually, passed onto the next generation with the minimum of delay and tax liability.
Whether we or another solicitor prepared your Will, we can administer your estate. We will ensure your assets are distributed in accordance with your wishes, attend to the legal necessities and support your dependents throughout this difficult time. |
