After successfully completing her A-levels, Charley followed her ambition to become a Lawyer and joined the firm in July 2008. She broadened her horizons working for a prestigious regional firm based in Cambridge and was involved in high net worth financial cases arising from the breakdown of marriage. Charley took the decision to return to Terrells in June 2016 to a more advanced role.
She is rapidly establishing a reputation for being conscientious and hard-working and is demonstrating a sound knowledge of the principles of Family Law. Charley advises clients on the sensitive area of children issues, including public law involving the Local Authority and private law, injunctions, fixed fee divorce, and financial settlements.
Charley is a competent advocate, regularly appearing before Lay Magistrates, District and Circuit Judges and Recorders representing her clients on all aspects of family law.
Charley is working towards her qualifications as a Chartered Legal Executive.
